On June 25, 2000, at the gates of Central Park South in Grand Army Plaza, a group of friends decided to change history and further the Gay Marriage movement. We launched The Wedding Party by kicking off the Gay Pride March in NYC with a wedding ceremony.

For 5 years in a row we celebrated love, honored commitment and took a stand for equality. The event was open to all, and included prominent celebrities and politicians.

As co-founder, CEO and Chief Visionary Officer I helped build and run the organization. We produced press worthy events, celebrity fundraisers and the NY Wedding Expo. Generating nationwide awareness, we brought the real faces of gay marriage into people’s hearts and living rooms.
